Hello Friends!  I have just returned from 3 weeks retreat in Hawaii where I have entered deep into the earth, ocean and sky and received many lessons and gifts from the enlightened creatures who live there.  Over the next several posts I will be sharing their lessons and gifts with you!

The Humpback Whales have become special friends to me over the several visits I have made to the Islands of Hawaii.  Every year I plan a boat trip to meet them, and they have never disappointed!  This year I took a different boat which was smaller because it was available on the one day it was not scheduled to rain or blow too hard.  We were blessed with a beautiful morning, meeting a pod of spinner dolphins immediately outside of the harbor and bottlenose shortly after that.  A sea turtle swam right next to the boat, so close I feared for its safety.  I will tell you more about each of those in later posts.  This first is about the Humpback Whales, and I was eagerly anticipating them as our boat continued on its journey.

I reached out to them telepathically and didn’t sense them, which was odd.  When I planned the trip I connected with them to be sure they could be there at that time.  They reassured me enthusiastically that if I came they would be there.   But as I waited, a little doubt crept into my mind and I sent the message – “Where are you?  Are you coming?  I’m here!”

They sent me the message – “You don’t need to see us; you can be with us any time!”  I replied “Yes but we are like family, and it’s always so good to see you!  Also, there are many people on this boat who don’t know you yet and would be so happy to meet you.”  I soon found out they were teasing me because immediately ahead of the boat maybe half a mile away we began to see spouting and then their arching backs rising out of the water.

The next thing we knew they were coming our way.  About 6 whales were spouting, arching and tail flapping so quickly that in a 1.5 minute video we saw 4 tail flaps and some roll overs.  Another short video shows the same.  I was glad my husband was recording it for us, because I was so happy that I was crying and laughing.  This went on for about 20 minutes with a short break and then another 10 or 15 minutes again!  They were very close to our boat the whole time so we could easily see them.  According to the tour guide this was an unprecedented experience for them.  Usually whales surface briefly and then don’t surface again for about 40 minutes.  The kind of behavior we saw can be associated with frisky males ready to mate apparently.  I don’t know, but it seemed like an extra friendly hello to me!

As we interacted and enjoyed this time together, I was told “Yes, we are family and we are so happy to see you too”.  Later I meditated with them in private where I could receive their deeper messages and gifts for myself and to share with you, my friends.

I was told that whenever a person is ready to ascend, they become family to the Humpback Whales whose job it is to help the world and all beings ascend into the new world.

They invited me to merge with them.  To swim and experience what they do that helps us so I could do it too.  When I did, I found myself feeling the powerful movement of the fluke or tail as it pushes the body through the water.  My whole self undulated through the water, and it felt amazing!  I was told to experience the lightness and joy of that power and how it lifts everything into the new world.  I felt how the heaviness of the old world emotion, mind, and experience can be shed by simply entering into the joy and unconditional love of the new world.  And the way the whales swim brings us home into that beautiful place.

I’ve been spending a lot of time swimming with the whales since then as an essential piece of both my personal and my world healing and ascension work.  I’d like to teach you to experience this gift as well.

To do this I will guide you to receive your own spirit of Humpback Whale as a power animal and then to merge with it and enjoy swimming in the powerful joy and unconditional love.  To be freed from the old-world burdens and enter the new world beauty, power and all its gifts that you are ready to experience.  Though it is likely you can’t stay in whale focus all the time, you will have this available to experience again and again.  That will help to train you to release the old and enter the new world more easily as you prepare to be there all the time!

If you are unfamiliar with Humpback Whales do some research and become knowledgeable about them, their lifestyle and their appearance.  Watch some videos and listen to their sounds.  A simple Google Search will get you all you need in this regard.

In the following exercise I will guide you to go direct to the Higher Power which I call Essence of Truth of God to receive your power animal as a piece of God’s own self in the form of the whale.  This is not a traditional way to do power animal work.  If you prefer a traditional approach, you may use that.  I have used both methods and find this way to be clear, safe, easy to do and very effective!  You are not limited to a certain number of power animals, but may work with whichever feel helpful.

How to Receive Humpback Whale as a Power Animal:

1 – Center within your body by breathing deeply focusing down to your toes, up to the top of your head and around back as well as front.  Give yourself a big inner hug and feel your whole self, unified through your open heart in unconditional love.

• This work takes place through the open heart, your mind can observe but does not direct the work.

2 – From within your open heart invite the essence of truth of God by whatever name you like to call that Oneness, to bring to you the spirit of Humpback Whale as a power animal.

3 – Welcome it into your open heart to merge with you.  Invite it to awaken within your own self the gifts it holds that you are ready for.  You will know what those gifts are as you let yourself experience them.

4 – From your open heart invite the essence of truth of God (Use whatever name sits right for you for that One) to bring the spirit of Humpback Whale to your crown chakra at the top of your head to merge with you.

5 – Feel the energy of the whale within you.  The gifts will be received as you are ready for them.

6 – If you feel ready to work with your whale you can merge with it.  As you do this your Higher self will stimulate your soul, instinctual and feeling self and imagination to let you experience its’ gifts.

• Like a child learns through pretending to be a teacher or a fireman or a mommy, merging with your power animal prepares you to grow into a greater potential which you already have available in essence. It teaches your instinctual self, your ego, mind and soul to become more whole.
• The merging process is best done while standing up and moving your feet a bit. If you have been to a Pow Wow, you have seen Native Americans do this as they dance.  Their feet are firmly on the ground and their knees hips are soft and they pick their feet up just a bit.  But you may do it sitting or lying down if you prefer.

7 – Centering again as in #1 of today’s instructions will prepare you to merge.  Then from your open heart welcome the whale by imagining it and making its’ sounds.

• You can do the sounds out loud or imagine them from memory of their amazing voice. If imagining, let yourself feel it deeply resonate powerfully within you as though you are making the sounds yourself.

8 – As the whale comes to focus for you, spend some time feeling and getting to know it.

9 – When you are ready let yourself share the experience of Humpback Whale.  Let yourself “be” one.  Feel what it is like to be so large, to make the sounds, to spout.  Experience what it is like to swim under the power of the great fluke, undulating through the water.  Feel it push you through the ocean. The up and down movement expels the old world and lifts you into the new.

10 – Let yourself go deep into the ocean and then rise back up to spout.  Feel joy as your back arches through the air and your fluke lifts up as you finish the arch and go back under water. Swimming under fluke power let the power, joy, unconditional love and wisdom of the whale be experienced by all parts of you.  Surrender to that experience, though your human self will still be with you.  Let old-world fears, hurts and limitations dissolve in this powerful new-world experience.  Become light, unconditional love, freedom and joy.  Let your human self be healed and ascend through this experience.

11 – When you are ready, return to your human focus.  Call yourself back to the present time and place.  Squeeze the muscles of your legs and feet and belly to find your body and its boundaries.  Give yourself a big inner hug.  Welcome the whale to be present within you as you return to your focus as a human being with a humpback whale within.

March 2nd was our final Monthlies Class for the current series.  We worked with the gifts of the Humpback Whale but merged with the dolphin because they do the same thing in a way which felt best for our class work.  The dolphin has its own sphere of influence but uses the same gift of swimming for healing and ascension that the whale taught us.  What a powerful experience it is to do world healing and ascension when there are so many others helping me.  We are moving rapidly into the new world and this class is making it so much smoother and easier for us.  Please know you are invited to join us for the next series of 6 classes beginning March 30^th.  See Resources at the end of this post for more information about Healing & Ascension Monthlies.
