Ascension moves us toward wholeness where the fruits of many lifetimes become available to us like never before.  But how do we step out of our habits of limitation in order to embrace that greater potential?

I am pleased to share with you a tool for those times when life requires you to step up to a new opportunity which seems beyond your abilities. You are very likely ready to step up to your greater potential, but that potential may be coming to you from a source you haven’t recognized before.

Through all our lifetimes we have been building our souls — vast bodies of learning, achievement, strength and capability which exist largely on our spiritual levels.  During individual lifetimes we incarnate only a small part of that potential and enter what I call the workout machine of life. Whatever soul muscles we need to build are presented to be worked with as our life focus, much like an exercise machine makes us work our weaker muscles.  As we grow the required muscles our workout machine changes to a new exercise, to build the next needed ability.  This is how we have gone through most of our lifetimes so far.

In December 2012 we exited the former contracts for evolving, and have since embarked on the next set of contracts which are for ascension.  During ascension we are able to integrate more of our greater soul potential, so our Higher Selves can express more fully through our lives!  Our new contracts for ascension are challenging us to integrate gifts from our larger soul to meet opportunities for which we may well feel completely inadequate.  But it is both possible and necessary for us to fulfill these tasks; though they may seem daunting.  The needed skills can be accessed from the level of ascended consciousness — but not from our old world limited identities.  Sometimes it feels like we are stepping out on a thin limb, reaching for the next stable place to land.  The stable place exists in the new world and it is calling us home to a new state of wholeness. We need to trust and reach out for the greater gifts that are now available.

The following exercise will help you to welcome qualities and gifts from your larger soul body in spirit. They will uplift, enlighten and help you fulfill the requirements of your lives.  You will still need to refine those gifts within the context of your present life, so I’m not saying it will be without challenges.

So here is a way that you can access the gifts of your larger soul as needed:

1) Begin with Inner Wisdom and Be A Tree — My clients and students know these tools from much use.  But they are available to everyone on Video #1 and Video #2 of Eve’s 3 Most Important Things for Riding the Wave of Change.  There is also a very brief written version in the post called Living Empowered.

— Just type Eve’s 3 Most Important Things or Living Empowered into the search box on the home page for this site to find them.  I hope you will use them often, because they are marvelously helpful. And then when I mention them in future posts you’ll be all set.  The videos take a little time to give you the theory, but the exercises are quick to do once you learn them! —

2) From within your Inner Wisdom, ask the essence of truth of your Higher Self to help you integrate your legally incarnating soul — this is the part of your soul contracted to be here now.

— Using the term essence of truth brings you the clearest focus available of whatever spiritual energy you are seeking.  It is a way to get beyond your limitations or lack of clarity so you access the real thing. Working from your Inner Wisdom is effective because it is the focus of your Higher Self which is present within your body.  Inner Wisdom is the way you can easily access the larger focus of your Higher Self in spirit which is one with the One Source.  I always teach to work from Inner Wisdom instead of trying to focus spiritual work from your mind, which is ineffective because that is not what your mind is designed to do. Using the essence of truth is both spiritual protection and clear focus–

3) From your Inner Wisdom ask that if there are additional parts of your soul which are needed for your life that they be contracted to be here and integrated in their essence of truth as you are ready for that, bringing the soul muscles and experience that will help you succeed in your life’s opportunities.

4) From your Inner Wisdom ask that the essence of truth of these newly incarnating parts of your soul would be updated to be ready to function in our world as it is now; to be comfortable rather than frustrated by life as we know it.

5) From your Inner Wisdom ask to be updated in the essence of truth to welcome the gifts that these newly incarnating parts of you bring, as though they were already familiar to you in this life.

6) Breathe and welcome these changes and give thanks for them integrating smoothly and easily into your life in just the right time frame for you.

6) Breathe into your Inner Wisdom and Tree.  Widen the roots of your tree and invite you Inner Wisdom to refocus all your energy into the present moment and place.  Your grounding into the present allows the work to complete.

7) Ask to be re-balanced for whatever you need to do next.
