Watching the moon as she waxes toward full on New Years Day, I have been asking what opportunities she is bringing us this time.  She says it is time for us to return to happiness, to let our hearts and minds be light.

This reminds me how essential a light and trusting heart and mind are for allowing the power of unconditional love to work within our lives.  I’m not talking Pollyanna, though I must admit to living that extreme in younger years when a more serious approach would have broken my spirit; and I’m not talking about dissociating which is also sometimes the only way to get through, or packing problems away in some inner closet where they can molder and fester.  But I am talking about the choice to be light, to trust, to give issues into the care of the essence of truth of the Higher Power, to not hold things so tightly that we can’t co-create with the wiser, more impactful loving Beings of life.

When I first began working with human and planetary ascension, I was given a tool that has been so helpful!  To prevent me from trying to carry these jobs within my little human self which would damage me, I was told to create a workbench where I could place the work in progress.  This allows those Beings of unconditional love who work for the Higher Power to do their part of the jobs – which is most of it!  You can imagine this as a laptop computer if you prefer – which works surprisingly well too.  The workbench needs to be outside of your personal energy field, so let your Inner Wisdom place it in the right place.  I have found that this approach works well with personal concerns as well.  Place your concerns on the workbench.  Then when you have time to work with the issues, and pick them back up again, you find they have changed – become lighter, clearer, and sometimes just resolved entirely!

It is often necessary to do some preliminary work with issues yourself first, if you can, but if not you can put them on the workbench to work with later when you have time.  Your part will be to  meditate on them a bit, to see what you are able to forgive, accept, heal or let go of, and then put them on the workbench.  I think of this as kind of cleaning house with things that are troubling you.  This clears the space in heart and mind for lightness and happiness to live within you!

There is some very beautiful energy coming in with 2018!  It feels wholesome, loving, warm, substantial, generous and joyful!  I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by this gift and gratefully welcoming it into our lives!  I invite you to do some inner housecleaning, then set your concerns on your workbench for the essence of truth of the Higher Power to work with.  That will make space for you to receive this new energy.

I hope you will take a moment to honor and enjoy the full moon on New Years!  She is welcoming us to trust and be happy as an essential part of entering into the New World, which is what we call the ascended experience.  We are getting there step by step, day by day – it is inevitable!  When you have created and learned to use your workbench, you will find the journey to be gentler and more enjoyable.
