All of life will ultimately ascend into a state of union with what we call God or the Divine intelligence, although what we call the old world has not begun that movement yet.  Those who are of the old world consciousness still have things to learn from that experience.  But life is like a spiral and while one end of the spiral is moving, the other may be standing still for a time. Like in the game crack the whip, where everyone is holding hands in a line and the person at one end of the line begins to move in a spiral, pulling those behind her along.  Initially those at the far end of the line don’t move at all, but once the movement of the rest begins to pull them into the spiral, they move very quickly and “crack the whip”, running to catch up with the others.   It may be a very long time for some before they begin to ascend, but you can be sure that they will when the time is right.
