A solar eclipse will occur next Friday May 10th and we are already feeling its influence.  The opportunity here is for a shift of direction, particularly at the level of our way of seeing ourselves.  So this is a good time to step into your new world identity in a bigger way.

The light of the sun represents our sense of self-worth, spiritual identity and the center of our being.  As that light is temporarily blocked ( although you won’t be able to see that in the USA) it makes it easier to let go our old sense of self and opens us up to ascend to a higher identity.  this is significant for the ascension process because shifting identity is one of the toughest aspects of this change.  We are so habituated to seeing ourselves and our world in the old, restricted ways.

Take the opportunity any time over the two weeks, while this influence is strong, to make room for this shift.  Here is an idea of how to do that:

1 – Lay on your back on the floor or in your yard, with a pillow under your head and knees if that is more comfortable.  Or, sit with your feet flat on the ground in a comfortable spot.

2 – Settle back into yourself until you feel you are as far behind your spine as in front of it, and open to God below and God above you – like a river of love flowing through you and supporting you.

3 – Deep within your heart chakra, find the still, clear place of your inner wisdom and center on that inner sweet light.

4 – As though you were talking to God (or whatever you call that Source) from right within that clear place, ask to be tuned to your new world self.  Relax into your body while staying connected to God and let the waves of light and newness wash through you for about 45 minutes.  You will go in and out of focus with that energy, so just let the sense of connection to God and your new world self come in waves of sweetness and light.
