Here on Lake Michigan, we have been getting smoke from the 36 wildfires in Ontario.  It’s amazing how far it has come, but our guests from San Francisco told us the California smoke traveled all the way to New York City last summer.  This led me to ask “What’s going on? And can I help with this?”

The experience of smelling the smoke and seeing the smog from it reminds me of an experience in the redwood forest of California several years ago that I wrote about in my book Riding the Wave of Change – www.evewilson-ridingthewave.com .  The dream and series of visions following that experience were mostly beautiful; but what I called Vision of Redwood Trees 2 was about the fires.

I am lying in bed in Michigan, but I feel immense heat, dryness and high winds and see dust and fire in the redwoods.  I pull myself up out of this vision and exclaim, “NO!”

I am reminded of the smoke-filled valleys we drove through on our first evening in the redwoods.  We were told the smoke was from forest fires burning in southern Oregon, not far from where we were. 

Willing myself to relax and surrender to trust, knowing that everything will work out to be fine in the long run, I ask what I am being shown.

I am told that many of the redwoods will eventually burn in the world, but enough will remain standing to bridge the old and new worlds.  This is part of releasing the old-world experience so we can transition into the new.

I am shown the new world redwood forest from the vantage of being halfway between the old and new worlds.  It is like looking through broken glass; I can see both images perfectly but with a little different focus, as though each is on one side of a crack in the glass.  The new world is above the old and partially superimposed on it.  If I duck down, I can see the old, and the fires raging; if I look up, I can see the new world in essence, as thought the trees were made of spiritual substance, both white and clear.

The word remember comes to me again and I realize that I am supposed to remember what it is like to be a redwood tree, so that I may help the new world redwood trees recreate themselves on that higher level of being.

When I open my heart to help with that, I suddenly perceive miles and miles of redwood trees in the new world, fully developed, healthy, and whole. I am treated to a marvelous feeling of strength, joy, and full-powered redwood in all its glory!

It occurs to me now, that the word remember that came repeatedly during this series of dream and visions was also asking me to remember to stay calm as the forests burn and to seek understanding of what is going on and how I can be of service.  I so love and honor the trees, and this is not an easy phase for me to navigate, but the memories of these visions help me.  I am sharing this with you too since many of you will have similar feelings during this time of wildfires both here in North American and around the world.

My meditations on wildfires this week have been revealing!  I still can’t say that I delight in this phase – I don’t.  However, there is a gift in this process that my original visions alluded to which I now understand more fully.  The dying of so many trees is loosening the framework of the old world for the whole planet.  This will allow the whole planet to ascend, and I can see that happening no matter which way I look with spiritual vision at the death of so many trees.  Trees have been major anchors of truth within the illusions of the old world; they made it possible for us to exist.  Their power and unconditional love is why we love them and grieve their passing.  Many trees need to be released, rather like a seamstress pulls threads from a garment’s seams so it can be altered.  When I enter the future of the new world through mediation, I perceive vast forests of old-growth trees.  In recent years I have often spent time in the new world forests to recharge and calm my heart and soul.  I also access their strength to assist my work with planetary and universal ascension.

Through this work with wildfires, I was given new information about the time frame for the world to ascend.  I now perceive the massive ascension shift for the planet happening in a little over 15 years’ time.  At the time I wrote Riding the Wave (between 2014 and 2016) I was shown a 30 years approximate time for this to occur which would have set it at about 2045.  15+ years from today would put us just at the end of 2036.  I asked about this repeatedly today and this seems pretty solid to me.  But I never guarantee my predictions, though they have often been correct.

This is exciting, that we are moving so quickly into the new world.  This will make the journey so much easier for us!  And it could be a little anxiety producing – change is like that.  But I want to reassure you that these changes occur in small steps like a stairway – especially for those who are actively working toward unity with their Higher Self.  These small shifts are gentle, like children growing their bodies; we will wake up some days with a new sense of perspective and self as children do during their growth. This process is gradual enough to feel fairly comfortable and ordinary.  It will be harder for those who are resistant to change.  But each one will change in their own way and time.  There isn’t one formula or system to get there, it is a  very personal inside job.

Spirituality is not the same thing as religion.  It is the essence of all life.  Religion has been a kind of bookmark reminding us that we are spiritual beings.  And many have and do serve through these systems with unconditional love. I respect them and the people who enjoy them.  Still, religions have in many ways backfired because of human nature’s inclination to either control others or to give power away to those who like to control.  That has caused abuses and bad feelings.  But since spirituality is the eternal true nature of everyone and everything, I have chosen to claim my spirituality in all its potentials outside of any religious box.  I do so despite the abuses I experienced from religions in this and in other lifetimes.  Why should I give up my truth and my power just because religion wants to put spirituality in a box which is too small to hold our whole true selves?  Spirituality is my truth and my strength, and I no longer choose to give my power away.

I welcome and support you to find your own way to claiming your eternal true spiritual selves if you haven’t already.  Discovering that for yourself is the beginning of so much more!

Co-creating reality in partnership through unity with Higher Self and the Oneness of the Higher Power, by whatever names you choose is the path of ascension.  Call it the One, The Great Spirit, God, Goddess, my favorite The Essence of Truth or whatever works for you.  We are all a part of the Oneness which is the spiritual essence of all life now and forever.

We begin to co-create reality when we access our Inner Wisdom which is One with our Higher Selves and the Oneness of all.  This gives us the perspective to choose wisely the directions of our lives in each moment.  It allows us to access the “big muscles” of the Higher Power to face the opportunities and challenges of life.

This process is very different in some ways from both the old idea of prayer and contemporary idea of visualization.  It isn’t about us pushing our agendas and hoping the universe supports them.  It is more about cooperation with what is needed for ourselves, and others and the world.  Each ripple of our will impacts all of creation.  So, as we ponder our opportunities, needs, desires and goals, we could put our desire to co-create out to the universe through our open hearts and our humble egos and wills.  Here is a suggestion for doing that:

• I have a need or desire (name it) and I am wondering how to best move forward on this. I am asking for understanding of whether this is the right direction at this time.  And if so, how can I move forward on it to co-create my life in harmony with the greater good.
• Please help me get clear in my mind, heart and will as to how to do this or if there is something else needed at this time.
• If this is the right thing, I invite the Higher Power (by whatever name) to be the big muscle for me. To bring together what is needed in the right way and the right time.
• I ask for help responding to the opportunities that come in the optimal way.
• —Then we wait— and learn to recognize an inner sense of right timing for taking action. When the time comes, we learn to act with an open heart, mind and will, following our Inner Wisdom. Respectfully letting things work out in the right way.  There is a time to push on occasion and when needed we do so with love but a willingness to be strong.  But mostly we dance with life, finding out how things can unfold for the greater good.

If you asked me tomorrow for steps for this process, I would probably create them differently.  So, it isn’t a formula, just a general direction to guide you to find your own inner process of co-creation.

Through partnering with the Essence of Truth within you, within your Higher Self, and with the One you are entering the new world.  Remember that, so that when you see the old world in the process of passing away you can comfort yourself and not resist.  Resisting change puts you into the old-world focus where things are difficult.  Staying focused in your co-creation process creates a kind of bridge above the old-world muck so you don’t get sucked into fear, hatred, and blame.  Occasionally it is a necessary part of your process to get into the old-world muck, but with your new world focus you can get through it more easily.  Co-creating helps you ride the waves of change with skill, grace, and success!
