Here is a suggestion for how to keep your “boat afloat in the positive” as you sail the ocean of transformation our world is experiencing right now.

The old world is transforming into the new world. As this happens, we undergo deepening levels of disfunction within the old-world way of life.  It can be very frustrating and stressful and that makes it hard to stay focused and positive in the new world which is growing stronger by the day.  It’s a bit of a conundrum – the stronger the new world gets the crazier the old world gets.  In this post I am going to share with you a simple way to use any frustration and discomfort to strengthen the positive new world energies.  That gift makes the journey of change more joyful, though still challenging.  It may feel like sailing a boat in high seas some days.  Even when we find ourselves getting caught temporarily in a negative response to situations, today’s suggestion makes it easier to cope with those daily disruptions to our personal preferences.

The new world experience awakens within us when we reclaim our eternal, true spiritual essence instead of our limited human identities.  As spiritual beings having a human experience, the old-world journey has been our K-12 schooling.  The new world graduates us into higher education and prepares us for our true purpose and work.  To step up to this opportunity, we begin working with and growing our true spiritual identity, which helps us leave behind the limitations of the past.

A simple way to do that is to keep our heart open to our Higher Self and the Higher Power which I call essence of truth of God.  This term helps me to reach beyond the limiting human ideas of the Higher Power and to access that Oneness at increasingly clear levels as I ascend.  But you could call it simply – Essence of Truth if you want.  Or Higher Power or Great Spirit…It isn’t the name; it is the clear intent which opens the connection. For short I will just use the term God or Higher Power and you can translate that in your own terms.

The open heart refers to the heart chakra, which is in the center of the chest, opening back and front.  We primarily receive through the back and give through the front.  The heart chakra is a transformational vessel, that allows love in and out and clears negativity back to God.  It is the primary vehicle of healing.  The open heart is a direct line to your Higher Self, the Essence of Truth of God and other people.  It also allows Higher Self and God to enter your life and circumstances.  There it can heal, clear problems and help things ascend into unity and true purpose.

Our hearts close when we feel hopeless and alone.  Opening our hearts is a deliberate choice to connect, trust and work with our Higher Selves and God to co-create something valuable out of the craziness of the old world.  This doesn’t always come in the way we might want – such as by making the old-world work effectively.  It comes as help for all life to ascend to a new and better place.  However, through the open-heart connection, our Higher Selves and God will help us get through our days and nights with greater ease and effectiveness while it speeds and smooths the journey of ascension for all life.

There is a term for making this connection with higher intelligence and love and bringing it into both the positive and the frustrating moments of our days.  It is called co-creating with God.  This experience is a partnership between the part of us that is physically incarnate in this world with the part of us which is purely spirit.  By keeping an open heart and a willingness to work together we co-create our moments and days. When many do this the world is transformed. In this way we can each contribute powerfully to making our world and our lives positive and whole in ways never-before-seen on Earth.

The Open Heart for Healing & Ascension

1 – When you find yourself frustrated, fearful or angry, pause your activity for a moment.  Breathe.  Give yourself an inner hug.  Comfort yourself like you would your most beloved person or pet.  Remind yourself that because you are in this position you can co-create with the Higher Power a better experience for yourself and others.  Work that hug until you begin to breathe in a more relaxed way, and you feel your heart open.  You may have to ask your heart to open; continue to breathe until it does.  It doesn’t have to be wide open, just a little open is needed to start.

2 – Centering on your open heart, step away from any mental and emotional reactivity enough to ask your Higher Self and the Higher Power (by whatever name you prefer) to be present within your feelings and thoughts about this circumstance.  There is a great deal of energy in those feelings and thoughts, and that is a power that can be used through your open heart to co-create the new world!

3 – Stay centered in your heart and breathe with increasing depth and ease as you begin to feel things clear and lighten up.  (Breathing helps open the heart.  When the heart is closed, you may notice that your breathing feels tight and restricted.  As you release and trust your breathing relaxes and deepens.)

4 – As that happens call yourself more fully into the center of your body and open your heart more fully.

5 – The higher intelligence and unconditional love of Higher Power can come increasingly into the negative situation as you ground and open your heart more fully.  Invite it to do so.

6 – Ask that the toxic chemical reactions in your body, caused by your strong reactions, be transformed into loving and whole new world energy.  Open your heart to that healing within your body, hormones, blood and brain.

7 – Continue to breathe, relax, and hold your center.  If there is more action required of you within the situation, ask the Higher Power to pave the way for you to complete that with a successful experience.

8 – I like the phrase: I will do my best and let God do the rest – God has the big muscles; people simply ground into our bodies and open our hearts to benefit by those!

This process is an inner one, putting it into steps like this makes it seem long, but it happens quickly and instinctively as you open your heart and welcome the connection to Higher Self and Higher Power.  The steps are helpful to tweak the experience, but in the moment, you will know what to do and how to do it if you keep your heart open and choose to co-create the new world in partnership with Higher Self and Higher Power.  Trust yourself.
