Rhythms of Growing Home

There is a rhythm to personal ascension that is unique to this period of change.  It really is like riding a wave, but not on a surf board as much as being a part of the wave itself.

Most Michiganders like myself have had plenty of experience with waves in action while standing in one of the Great Lakes.  And East and West Coasters have the ocean; so many of you can relate to this analogy through personal experience with vast bodies of water.  A wave starts its life as a subtle but powerful movement  across a lake or ocean until it comes to shore where there is a thrust of forward motion as it breaks on the beach with a satisfying sound, and breath of moist spray.  Then having deposited itself, it immediately begins to recede, drawing back with a force that pulls the sand out from under your feet, as with tingles and bubbles and fizz it draws back into the vast body of water.  Then between waves a person standing in the water feels the pull of the retreating water and the next arriving wave come together in an almost calm place, but with lots of action going on below the surface while the next wave begins to form and moves everything again toward shore.

Our own bodies, emotions, minds and souls are going through this kind of change.  We feel it within ourselves, and may wonder why we aren’t as able to just move straight forward toward out goals as we once were; there seems to be a lot of confusion and resistance.  There are times when we move ahead faster than we ever could have before and we think – Yes!, now I am getting somewhere!  Then we find ourselves pulled back into ourselves, with a powerful force, which makes it difficult to just stand in place, let alone move forward.  This may be followed by a period of outer inactivity, but a sense of inner disruption.  Then we have another period of rapid accomplishment and change. If we expect constant forward motion, we may find this process to be alternately frustrating and exhilarating, worrisome and then thrilling!  —  I am wondering how many of you have noticed this cycle within yourself?  I would love for you to comment about it if you want.–  This is the rhythm of change that is building the new world home of body and soul for our Higher Self to act through in the world.  Each new breaking wave is our Higher Self acting more fully within our life than before.  Each period of delay is a time of restructuring our energy systems to accommodate the next greater presence of Higher Self within.

I hope that understanding this helps you to make good use of each cycle of change.  When life is not moving you forward, practice doing what you can do without fighting it.  I hope you can enjoy a deepening sense of self during those periods of personal shift, as your Higher Self prepares you to ascend another step.  Then when the big thrust of outward movement comes, let it reassure you because everything is getting done much faster than expected.  Then the next time it slows down and pulls you back into yourself maybe you can enjoy that phase of the process more, trusting it all works out in the end.

To receive $10 off Healing for Children and Youth this month mention this post.  I will work with your young person in person or telepathically while you are on the phone.  Their Higher Self will be in charge and we will ask permission at that level before working in harmony only with their own true choice and will.  Change is remarkable at these ages, smoothing the way for health, success and happiness in life.  Read testimonials on my website, kids are so amazing!  When physical or psychological disease just disappears  Doctors think they must have misdiagnosed! I love that 🙂

Blessings and love as you are riding the wave of change! See you next week!  Please feel free to share or comment if you like!  I always enjoy and appreciate it,  Eve

What I have had to learn about this rhythm of change is the wisdom in it, for rapid change can be overwhelming and scary which means we dig our heels in. That stops forward momentum and is what can make us stuck. But by relaxing into the “advance and integrate” mode we have time to adjust to change in increments without getting stuck as long as we can stay in the Now. Thanks for sharing this, Eve!

I can relate to your wave analogy to a T. Water has always been part of my life and growth, and it’s properties are extraordinary. I appreciate hearing the forward and retreating explanation because it is an affirmation that all is well and that others experience change similarly. I find that my awareness of old behavior and beliefs are as plain as day after the wave forward to a point that my conscious mind and my higher self often have conversations with each other when I walk the dogs. This prepares and excites me for the next wave.
