Ascension and healing progresses in waves.  There are periods of rapid forward movement and periods of pulling back to process and integrate the changes that have been initiated.  I think of it like the tide coming in – – it comes in, pulls back, comes in a little further, pulls back again, comes in a little further yet, and so forth.  We are generally in a period of rapid change and forward movement, and yet there are periods where no new forward movement is possible.  Right now we are in one of those periods where we must pull back from forward movement and allow clearing, restructuring and integration to take place.  This is true for our planet, and also for many of us in our individual lives and personal ascension process.

During such a time, it can be frustrating because people want to continue to move forward; we have goals and want to see proof that things are moving toward them!  Our minds, hearts and wills may be all invested in that forward movement, and suddenly we hit an obstruction which blocks us.  The obstruction may appear to be something in the outer world, or it may feel like there is something wrong within us that we have lost our focus and impetus for forward movement.  But if we will relax and open  heart and mind, we will recognize that it is simply time to pause.  Another analogy is that change is like a muscle, it expands and contracts, it can’t hold the same level of strength for an indefinite period, it must relax and prepare for the next movement forward.

By accepting this timing and rhythm, during times when things are forced to slow down, we can learn to relax and enjoy it.  This requires some trust and a willingness to let go.  Rest, pleasure and relaxed activities allow the many levels of body, soul and spirit – – for people and the world – – to process and integrate the changes that have been initiated.  This time is a blessing, helping us to balance all aspects of life within ourselves and our world.

So between now and Sunday, there is a period of pulling back for the tide of change.  Take this time to rest, play, catch up on personal projects that aren’t too stressful, and enjoy your life.

Next week will bring new opportunities for all of us, including the election.  Take time prior to going to the polls to pray for angels and Beings of harmony and unconditional love to surround the election process and all people participating in it.  Ask that they protect you and hold you in a peaceful and harmonious place of love; as you serve us all by voting what you feel will be best.
