What I am noticing this week is a lot of what could be called ancestral karma coming up to be resolved.  The things you are working on yourself that keep you going around and around the same old crazy life paths, may find their roots in multiple generations of your family.

Take some time to consider who in your family line exhibit similar tendencies to yourself and who holds opposite tendencies.  A lot of time there are two soul groups who are attracted together over lifetimes and provide oppositional force to each others soul evolution.  This helps each group to grow in the directions they need to and to become stronger and ultimately to balance their inclinations.

One of the challenges in overcoming hereditary influences is to avoid going into opposite reaction mode, where you do anything just to be different from whoever you liked the least in your family, or pick your nicer parent to imitate.  Seek instead your inner wisdom and the true core of your own being.  You don’t have to be like anyone else, or different than anyone else, you just need to be true to you, whatever that is.

Ask yourself if your behaviors serve you.  Are they self- loving or merely self-indulgent?  Are you taking care of yourself in relationships or just pleasing others?  Are you living your truth or just avoiding suffering?  Living your life in a self-loving manner can be kind of like being a perfect parent to yourself.  Loving yourself courageously.  Allowing your inner light to empower you to enjoy everything that you do.  Doing what feels true and learning from those experiences to actualize more of your truth the next time an experience happens.
