Because I was raised by fanatical Christian Missionaries, it has taken me a long time to understand and embrace the Christ energy.  When you get my book Riding the Wave of Change which will be coming out soon, one thing it includes is the story of that journey, which turned out to be oddly funny and profoundly life affirming.

I’d like to share an understanding of the Cosmic Christ which is innate to all life and beyond any religion or human confusion.  Through my work with the Healing Qabalah, I have come to see how the One Source of Life gave birth to all the individual lives and life forms that exist.  The first individual Being to be born out of that One was and is the Cosmic Christ.  Out of that first individual, all other lives were created.  So at the core of all individuals there is a seed of Christ consciousness.

The qualities of the Cosmic Christ are unity with the One and individuality of Self;  wisdom, unconditional love and freedom.

Those that we call Master and Ascended Master Beings have evolved and ascended into a state of unity with the Cosmic Christ.  So any of them could be called Christ.  Jesus and Mother Mary are both Ascended Master Beings, as was Buddha and his mother Quan Yin and uncountable others.

The journey of ascension is a gradual awakenings of all life forms and beings into a state of Christ Consciousness.  This doesn’t mean we will all be the same; quite the opposite.  We will all be unique and essential as a part of the wholeness of life.

My favorite philosopher and renaissance man, Rudolph Steiner encouraged his students to think of the journey of each year as a journey of birthing an aspect of truth within ourselves, like Mary birthed Jesus.  This makes the story of Christmas a very personal one if we choose to see it that way.  As we enter 2014, be open to making room in your life for whatever aspect of your own essence of truth that is coming to be born within you this year.
