Understanding the mystery that draws us into our birth families and into our significant relationships is one of the secret treasures of my work as a healer. Now it is the theme of my new class offering beginning April 30th.
I think many people have asked themselves – Why? Why do my family and my significant relationships continue to challenge me so? I thought I was seeking comfort and something new when I hooked up with this person. Why did I get the same old dynamics that I’ve had in my past again?!
Some of the questions that come up in couples and family healings include:
How can I have the loving connections I desire with my partner or my family?
Are my relationships for my comfort or for my growth?
Am I in the right relationship, or is this too challenging?
How can I be supportive and loving without losing myself?
What happened to the sexual attraction between me and my partner?
How do I get my needs met too?
Why do I feel stuck?
Why do I feel disrespected or like a child again when I visit my birth family?
Why when I left my birth family, did I get drawn to someone who is just like my most challenging parent?
How can I learn to trust and receive love?
How can I support my children to live empowered lives?

While these questions are common, the answers that come through spiritual healing are uncommon. They help you rise above your emotional and mental gerbil wheel to understand the purpose behind the dynamics you have contracted for in life. Then productive solutions for mastering the challenges and accessing the gifts you seek provide a new direction for growth and increasing intimacy. Or alternately for resolution and fulfillment of soul contracts and the freedom to move on to a new experience if that’s what is right for you.
I love working with entire families. Being able to see through people’s Higher Selves the multi-generational goals, as well as the individual goals that soul group is seeking to achieve. The conflicts and co-dependencies that accompany the family experience are integral to this fulfillment. But people are so entangled in these long familiar challenges that they can’t see the greater purpose. They struggle with the push-pull of egos, hearts, judgments, fears, needs, and longings and it can often be painful and debilitating, even though family relationships also may define our understanding of love.
Sometimes parents get stuck on how to empower their children to be the best they can be. In trying to do that, they may inadvertently be disempowering them. How do we protect and empower our children and set them free to be themselves? How do we let them go when they have defined our purpose and value in life? How do we empower ourselves once they have grown?
I’m excited to bring the perspective and clarity of 40 years working with these and many other opportunities in couples and family relationships to this more public format on April 30th.
One of the amazing elements of this work, is that over the years I have learned it only takes one person willing to heal and grow to transform a relationship and bring healing to a family. The reason this works is that families are soul groups. That means individuals who have been working for lifetimes with certain opportunities and challenges. They are connected together along the lines of these old-world dynamics.
Working spiritually through one person’s life and Higher Self, it connects to the other’s Higher Selves in ways that they need and are ready for. One person breaking the chains that have bound this soul group into these challenges can set everyone free in their own way and time. Often quite rapidly.
And one person becoming whole in themselves, changes the dynamic between themselves and others. Where they may have sought to be made whole and fulfilled by the other, creating an entangled and dysfunctional mess. Becoming whole, the other person is also freed from that entanglement and can become whole too if they are willing. I’ve seen it happen so many times! If that doesn’t happen the person who is ready to change will become confident and strong enough to move on, which is wonderful too.
This will be a two-part class by teleconference call. Only one person per couple or family is needed to enjoy this journey. More may participate if they are ready to.
Part 1 will be a group class to address the general questions, needs and experiences of the individual participants in the group. This two-hour class will give a broader perspective needed to begin to rise above limiting experiences and enter the place of wisdom and understanding that paves the way for transformation. Only one person need attend, and attendance can be by MP3 if needed.
Part 2 will be a privately scheduled healing for each individual couple or family to assist their unique needs and readiness to transform. Only one person need attend, but more are welcome.
