Winter Solstice is such a sacred time, I feel deep, loving energy increasing as it draws close.  I always anticipate reading once again this verse from the Calendar of the Soul.  To enjoy the beauty and resonance of Rudolf Steiner’s words that speak so eloquently for this week.  I hope you enjoyed them too, since almost every year I post this verse!

The awareness of sacred light within our own selves, during the darkest days of the year, feels poignant, touching me deeply.  You could say that Winter Solstice holds the essence of much I have taught over 40 years of my work.  That could be defined in this way:

• Within you is the presence of the Divine Oneness, existing as your own unique light.  Your own facet of that vast “crystal of the One”– for a metaphor– shines and refracts in a way that no other can. Your individuality reveals aspects of reality and potential that make up your piece of the wholeness of eternity.  In the winter months, and during challenging times, and I believe most would agree this is one —  to practice owning, knowing, identifying with, embracing that unique light within takes us beyond survival to miracle.  The miracles that can only happen within the present circumstances of life.  Without the darkness, the miracle would not shine so brightly.  That sacredness within you is the most profound miracle of your life.  It is a seed to water and grow until it is all of you.

Sunday is Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of 2024.  Take time to water the light-seed within you in whatever way works for you, any day this week.  Or every day this week!  And especially during the long cold nights… Rather than focus on the darkness, go into the sacred sanctuary within you that is rich with the light of your own heart and soul.  Spending time there, strengthen the light, allowing it to fill all of you.

That is powerful healing and ascension work on the individual level!  It contributes to the similar work that I and my World Healing and Ascension partners are doing on a vaster scale for all people and life on Earth.

We have continued working with Daat as I have shared over several recent posts, healing the darkest places within the human soul and our world experience and memory.  Exponentially the energy continues to shift in positive ways.  Going all the way back to the first separation from Oneness, we are healing the rift that says the One is separate from the creation. A lot of hard, cold, hateful energy is releasing and much grief, bitterness and jealousy is leaving, making space for something beautiful and new.  Now the One is entering creation right through the rift that was Daat.  Bringing healing and ascension.  Clearing the blocks and illusions and lies which have convinced us we were separate.  Those allowed us to build our strength through the old world experience; developing needed soul muscles to hold ourselves as sovereign individuals.  That separation work is now sufficiently done, and the dark emptiness is being filled increasingly with wholeness and unconditional love for individuals, all life forms and the entire world.

I am deeply touched by the healing I am whitnessing and experiencing within those darkest places.  I find my confidence in world healing and ascension, which has always been there but sometimes has been hard to justify in the face of world circumstances, is growing stronger than ever before.

Despite the increasing awareness of absolute dysfunctionality in our old world society and the ravages we are wreaking on each other and our world, I am confident.  Those problems are the illusions passing.  All life is eternal, safe, and unbreakable, though forms will change.  As I watch the destructive foundations of old world experience dissolving, and unity being restored within spiritual levels that hold the pattern for life on Earth, I am reassured.  I feel comforted.  I know the sacred that is present within the darkness and it is strong and growing stronger here in our world.

The dysfunction of the old world is nothing but the shedding of illusions and misinformation.  It is dying so that the reality of unconditional love can be born in many shining “crystals” of individual beauty, wholeness and mastery.  That mastery is growing by the moment, by the day, the week, the month…be prepared to notice change of the positive nature!  Make room for this beautiful birth within your own heart, mind, soul, and spirit.  This is the longest night, but the light is present and is awakening within everything.
