The story of Eve being born of Adam’s rib represents the origin of the old world journey of division of the sexes.  We returned to that original division this week to support each individual becoming whole.

It’s interesting to look back historically over the past 100+ years and the way that over time woman have claimed their right to be whole.  And most obviously in recent decades we have seen men doing the same.  People are no longer content to be half a person, looking for their other half.  Marriage doesn’t mean we have to fill one traditional role or another.  It can be a partnership of two whole people.

We have been moving strongly in this direction within society and as individuals!  And yet there still exist stuck places within us which make this call to wholeness sometimes seem difficult and frustrating.

The work we did this week brought us to the end of the remaining old world contracts for separation of the sexes and for marriage being the joining of two half people into one whole.  As our work came to its resolution, we met Adam and Eve in spirit, at the moment that they released those contracts.  They were smiling lovingly as they showed us the awakening wholeness now beginning to blossom within each person as they are ready for that.

There is much more that could be said on this subject and I’m sure I will expound more fully at another time.  For now, I am told to leave it at this.

I celebrate each of you as you blossom into wholeness and release the deep, instinctual, and cultural limitations which have defined you to at least some extent in both present and past lifetimes.  This shift may bring up strong emotions as you find yourself breaking free from limitations you may not have even noticed and choose a new way.  No one is to blame for those limitations, we have all been stuck within them.  But every time one of us comes more unstuck it loosens things up for everyone else!
