I received a vision as I awoke this morning which I believe is pertinent to others who are on the ascension path.  The imagery had religious and political overtones, so before I share it let me say that I am neither religious nor political in my approach.  But I was raised by religious people and live in a political society.  When something comes to me spiritually using images that spring from those things, I accept the information without judgment.  I access the core intent and accept that.  Because it has those overtones it touches on levels of our humanness which have been impacted by them.  This helps us to break out of the limited boxes they represent, to ascend into a fresh perspective and a more new world place.

I saw Jerusalem, the “Holy City”.  It was glowing with a golden early morning light, and rising and falling in and out of view as though I were traveling toward it.  As I meditated on this, I was reminded how multiple religious groups claim this as their own.  I thought of the generations and generations of bloody conflict as people have sought to own this Holy City for their own use.  But there was really just a peripheral awareness of those things.  What I felt as the image became clearer and closer was the awareness that the Holy City is myself.  The temple of my body and soul, my emotions and mind and spirit is my Holy City.  I have been building it through all my lifetimes.  It has been fraught by attacks from my own fears and hatreds, lack of self-love, misunderstandings as much as from those from people and circumstances outside of me.  I have built and rebuilt this temple many times in just this lifetime, but I know I have done so throughout my history as a soul in the old world.

All of this has been necessary on the journey of self-actualization, ascension and self-mastery.  Increasingly as I ascend, I recognize that the way to have my sacred temple, my Holy City is to focus my strength within.  The outer world focus and all its gifts and struggles, competitions and jealousies and the fears these have evoked have been important.  They have been building the strength of our human facilities of body, emotion, mind and soul.  But there comes a time as we near the new world where we have to release the level of importance on outer acceptance, successes, safety and our fears about them.   We need to focus on rebuilding and owning our Holy City within.  That is where we enter the new world where our Higher Selves and our human selves become one.  From there we co-create the new world experience.

To the degree we try to continue in the old path of building our success or our Holy City in the world around us through our own agendas and will power, we will be disappointed, we will be battered and afraid.  The time for that is past.  The outer experience is the old world.  The new world is within us.  It is time to focus and grow that.

We are entering a totally new experience and we can’t do it in the old way.  What we need is within us.  Each one of us can enter our Holiness and discover who we uniquely are.  We each do this in our own way.  No one and nothing can stop us from that unless we let it distract us.  Even when facing challenges in the outer world, if we maintain our inner Holy City we are co-creating the new world a little bit at a time. We will have the clarity, strength and provision needed to succeed when we hold ourselves centered and in unity with Inner Wisdom and Higher Self.  When we don’t allow our fears, judgments and agendas on the outer experience to be in charge, but allow unconditional love and wisdom to walk us through our challenges we will find our way safely.

When I find myself worried about my own challenges or those of friends, family or clients.   Or especially when I hear about so many in the world at large who are struggling, I have to remind myself of these things.  That the impossibility of firm success toward positive goals in the outer world at this time is the natural product of the ending of the old world.  The new world is calling us to stop fighting the impossible and do what is optimal at this time in the world.  Repair our relationship with Higher Self within our own hearts, minds, bodies and souls.  Begin co-creating something new.  Build the Holy City within.

Not everyone will understand this as a spiritual change that is happening.  When the time is right for them, they will merely withdraw inside their selves to find the way through the impossible situations of life.  Because we are all ascending, they will find their own unique wisdom, wholeness and truth is being born there.  They will exit the fray of the outer world and make their way into the new.
