It comes to you direct from the Source and in unconditional love. Just welcome it with your open heart from that Higher Source by whatever name you call that One. This is potent but gentle work. If you have worked with Inner Children through traditional psychological means, you likely found it more emotionally stressful than this approach and sometimes overwhelming. If you follow these instructions and come prepared with your power animal, you should find this work to be deep and penetrating, but empowering and freeing. The wrap-up for this work is essential. It relaxes you into your empowered self and teaches you to access your Inner Master to care for the inner children that are healing. This way you don’t have to focus on them constantly, but only when the time comes to work with them again. It frees your heart, mind and soul to meet life in the present moment and you will be less likely to react from old woundedness and fear. You will feel like you have a good babysitter for those inner children and can focus on your work and enjoying your life and your mature and enlightened aspects of self.
The Mini-Classes Body Communication and Inner Child Work both aim toward the same goal, only do so with a different focus.
Body Communication teaches you to feel, sense, listen and pay attention to what is happening in your unconscious self which impacts your body, emotions, mind, spiritual energy, authority, , and focus. You will likely find inner children there, and be guided release what needs to be released, and love and heal the parts of yourself which need that. It helps you to understand what you have been holding onto and why.
Inner Child work goes more deeply into the wounded parts. It directly addresses the need for self-love, compassion, empowerment and healing. It empowers you to reclaim the gifts that were split off from your wholeness when an inner child was created. It teaches you to help those inner children to grow up and integrate with your adult self. And it helps you to release into your larger self that is always in spirit, those parts of you which are too broken to continue in this incarnate existence at this time. Those parts have been like blood clots in the flow of your life, preventing you from feeling your best and responding to life with confidence and strength.
For Inner Child Work, you definitely need to have a power animal in order to gain the most from the exercise. Power animals are the single most impactful tool for healing Inner Children that I have experienced. They upgrade inner child work from primarily managing emotional and mental woundedness while still going through life reacting to old feelings and fears; to stepping forward with confidence, strength and courage in a mature and enlightened way. Power animals will help any inner child to either heal, mature and merge with the adult personality or to graduate into the light of your eternal spiritual self. Either result is excellent.

Inner Children may be found during Body Communication or Inner Child Work. They are also called Soul Parts. These are a healthy response to unresolvable or intolerable conflicts. They can occur at any time of your life, young or old. A part of your soul will respond to those types of situations by fragmenting off. They take the trauma and disappear into the unconscious so the conscious part of you may continue to function in your life. But when stressors push the buttons of that old trauma, related soul parts may step into control of mind and emotions. This causes us to behave in ways that are immature and self-defeating because those younger parts of us are still reacting to the past; they haven’t matured along with the rest of us. Inner child work as I teach it, helps us to bring our current maturity level to those old stuck places and helps us to become more whole.
Many inner children we carry are not our own, but those we have picked up from people in our lives, or even brought with us from other lives. When you release soul parts and baggage of your own or other people, you will receive more of your true self that brings strength and helps you to move forward into the next stages of your life successfully! We call this soul rotation, and it is a natural occurrence during a lifetime. Increasingly so as we ascend.
Cleaning up these broken pieces within our souls and psyches is like cleaning up a very dirty room in your house where you have stored things from your own life, and stuff you received from your ancestors and other relationships. It leaves you feeling refreshed, light, alive, free and more whole.
