Watching the water rising on Lake Michigan where I am living for the summer, brings extremely close to home the reality of rising water levels around the world as our polar ice is melting.  I learned a lot as I worked with this experience this week, and it gave me a chance to smooth another layer of the world journey of healing and ascension.

I found myself in recent weeks fretting about those who are experiencing flooding both in Michigan and in Illinois and other places around our country and world.  I wanted to ask for protection from this for them, but I also recognized that there must be a good reason why their higher selves have brought them to that situation.  Over several days of meditating and praying about this, here is what I learned and what I was allowed to do to help:

1 – I learned that flooding is one of the ways that souls are able to work out any lifetimes of hateful, cruel and or selfish behaviors.  We have all played these roles as part of our work in the old world, none of us has been completely free of that. This is not a punishment, it is for people to purge residual negative attitudes, beliefs and toxicity toward self or others, and to become strong in their true selves.  It allows them to develop compassion. This realization allowed me to give thanks for the experiences on their behalf, instead of fretting about the problems flooding creates for people’s homes, businesses and economic situations.

2 – I learned that compassion accomplishes a lot for souls, including forgiveness and acceptance of oneself and of others and their differences and dysfunctionality.  It lifts people into partnership and unity with their Higher Self.  This unity is the foundational step that allows ascension into the new world.

3 – I asked if there was anything I could do that would help these goals to be accomplished with less flooding and smoother ascension.  I was guided to invite and ground the Higher Power to work within human genetic material and within our bodies and auras, to plant the spirit of and experience of compassion so it could weave into our past, present and future better than if it had always been there.  This was offered with the understanding that it would be available when people are ready for it.  As this was integrated there was a large shift into greater unity with Higher Self as a result across the board, and a strengthening of Higher Power within our world.

4 – Over the past couple of years there have been a few times when I worked specifically with the power of compassionate love and healing for humankind.  Each time I have seen the stabilization and retreat of global warming causing the polar caps to strengthen again, and a lowering of water levels.  This was the third time this happened.  The first time I was working with healing Mothers in war torn areas, helping to clear trauma, built up emotions and stress.  During this work their love, care, and compassion spontaneously gave me the vision of the ice caps reforming within 5 years as a result of our work.  I never assume I am right about these things, but I feel hopeful and reassured by these visions.  I am hoping this week’s work shortens that time a bit!

Of course, there are many other aspects of human life which will benefit by increased compassion and unity.  These two true qualities address the issues we are seeing socially, racially, politically, financially and environmentally on all levels.  I am grateful there are things I may do that can help with this process.
