Hello Ascending Friends!<\/p>\n
It is almost Winter Solstice, which to me is the most exciting time of year.\u00a0 The way the light of our souls and the stars and planets shine in the darkness of the season is spectacular to me.\u00a0 We are most potent in our truth at this time when our energies are held closely within our bodies and the earth.<\/p>\n
This verse from Rudolf Steiner’s Calendar of the Soul as translated by Michael Brewer speaks so truly.\u00a0 The calendar of the soul teaches us to work with the cosmic influences of the seasons here on Earth for the development of our soul capacities.<\/p>\n
To carry Spirit’s light to world-winter night<\/p>\n
Strives blissfully the impulse of my heart,<\/p>\n
That shining seeds of soul<\/p>\n
Take root in grounds of worlds,<\/p>\n
And Word of God in senses’ darkness<\/p>\n
Resounds, transfiguring all being.<\/p>\n
If you too feel the blissful impulse of the heart to bring light to the world during this dark season, what will you do?\u00a0 How will you plant your shining seeds of soul into the ground of our world and allow your personal\u00a0Word of God to resound?<\/p>\n
Think about it!\u00a0 Will you do so through the love you share with friends and family?\u00a0 Through the gifts you give to those who have little?\u00a0 Through meditation, ceremony, song?\u00a0 Through walks rejoicing in the beauty of nature?\u00a0 By playing with children or pets, being kind and caring to others,\u00a0or feeding the wild creatures to help them through?\u00a0\u00a0Praying for\u00a0the world to grow in wisdom, truth, love and light?\u00a0There are limitless ways to shine, but each of us has a way that calls us uniquely.\u00a0 The outward form isn’t as important as the spirit that you bring, remembering that you carry light and unity within you and can plant it into the world!<\/p>\n
