Ascending gives you the opportunity to experience a new sense of self.\u00a0 It is built on the oldest sense of self, long buried, which is unity with the One Source of life.\u00a0 You are a facet of that one, it is who you have always been.\u00a0 The journey of the old world took you through many lifetimes of individuating and separating from unity to develop independence.\u00a0 Now you get to return to your true self, while maintaining that independent and unique individual you have created through all your lifetimes.<\/p>\n

Much of the old world identity\u00a0carries beliefs and attitudes of\u00a0limitation, lack, self-judgment and fear.\u00a0 These are the things you get to let go of!\u00a0 Letting go is a process of moving forward and falling back.\u00a0 Like building a muscle,\u00a0you have\u00a0to relax into\u00a0your more limited shape to rest between expansions, then\u00a0you gets stronger actually change into a new identity,\u00a0clearer\u00a0and truer than before.\u00a0 Your new world self is growing like a muscle grows.<\/p>\n

If you have raised children or pets, you know that they grow like that too.\u00a0 When they have a big growth spurt in the physical sense, they regress emotionally and mentally for a while.\u00a0 Once they settle in to their new size, their emotions and minds grow bigger than ever.\u00a0 Then the next time they have a growth spurt, they regress emotionally and mentally again, until it settles and that part of them catches up and exceeds the previous limitations.<\/p>\n

So as you ascend be kind and patient with yourself.\u00a0 When you observe the periods of regression, it is probably because you are ascending rapidly in another aspect of body, soul and personality.\u00a0 I sometimes think this is just a stress response to change.\u00a0 So rather than judging it, be kind to yourself; take things a little slower, open your heart to whatever gives you joy and make time to embrace the new you, which is in some ways, the oldest you; the true self that you are.<\/p>\n
