I love this time of year.\u00a0 Spiritually, it is such an interesting transition.\u00a0 Rudolph Steiner does an amazing job of conveying the way our soul evolves through the seasons.<\/p>\n

In his book The Calendar of the Soul.\u00a0 He explains how in\u00a0 summer we expand and spirit touches us, planting the seed of higher consciousness and purpose within our souls.\u00a0\u00a0During this expansion, we almost lose ourselves.\u00a0 Now, in this last burst of summer, we are beginning to recall ourselves, and there is an important\u00a0opportunity to make the gifts we have received our own.\u00a0\u00a0Steiner says it beautifully in this weeks verse:<\/p>\n

Can I make wide my soul,<\/p>\n

That she may join herself<\/p>\n

To seed-word of the world received?<\/p>\n

I sense that I must find the strength<\/p>\n

To shape my soul in worthy fashion,<\/p>\n

To form herself as spirit’s garment<\/p>\n

The gifts of spirit come to us in those moments of open-hearted receptivity to the essence of truth, through nature or meditation, even during exercise we can make this contact.\u00a0 Then in quiet prayer and meditation, we can invite that seed of truth, the gifts of spirit, to become one with us, in our heart and our belly.\u00a0 It is like a spiritual pregnancy, and this is the union that plants that seed within the womb of our souls; man and woman alike.<\/p>\n

Much later, after gestating this seed gift over fall and winter, we can find emerging into consciousness with spring, a new level of wisdom and direction for our evolution and our life.<\/p>\n

Rudolph Steiner was an early teacher of ascension.\u00a0 His gifts are true and beautiful.\u00a0 I am glad to be able to share this one with you.<\/p>\n
