Today I was rewarded for weeks of slogging hard work.\u00a0 I was reminded that we are always rewarded when we reach the fulfillment of the task required.<\/p>\n
After a week of heavy clouds, rain, and high wind, including 24 hours of power outage, darkness and cold, today dawned with patches of blue sky and gentle winds.<\/p>\n
Walking my whippet Toby on the beach, beams of sun spotlighted patches of fall color and delighted our eyes.\u00a0 With a renewed spring in our steps, we both enjoyed the morning.\u00a0 Gulls delighted \u2013 Toby to chase them and I to enjoy their flight.\u00a0 I found myself wondering for the thousandth time why the flapping of their wings seems to lack efficiency compared to other birds of their size.\u00a0 And then as I watched them soar, I realized that \u2013 of course \u2013 flapping is not their strength, those wings were built to soar, and they do it so well!<\/p>\n
This made me think of myself.\u00a0 How my weaknesses and gifts are both purposeful.\u00a0 The challenges of my humanness are the open door for my spirit, which is my strength, to do its work in the world.\u00a0 I can accept and be grateful for that.<\/p>\n
I also thought of how the world I live in always mirrors the aspect of my work I am undergoing at the time.\u00a0 The period of wind, rain and power outage, by removing all other possible activities, nudged me to spend extra time looking within the darker and colder places within my body and soul. \u00a0Places where my inner work appeared to be personal stuff, would ultimately lead me to world healing and ascension work on those same issues.<\/p>\n
Each of us is a microcosm of the whole. \u00a0To change the world around us, we have to go within ourselves, where we find our handle on the bigger issues.\u00a0 Forgiving, comforting, healing and empowering our limited human selves we bring our Higher Selves into the world.\u00a0 Our Higher Selves are One with the One Source of Life which I call essence of truth of God.\u00a0 When that One is present within our human weaknesses we are strengthened, forgiven and healed.\u00a0 Through our connection to everything else the world is also strengthened, forgiven and healed to an extent.<\/p>\n
Because my outer experience mirrors my inner state, until I had completed the inner work, which led to the world work, the darkness of the world around kept getting darker, colder, more oppressive.\u00a0 This led me deeper into places within myself and the world which needed healing and ascending.\u00a0 Not fun, but worth doing!\u00a0 As soon as I completed what was needed \u2013 and I didn\u2019t know what that was until I did it! \u2013 the power came back on!\u00a0 What a relief!\u00a0 This is true of our world and all the craziness it is undergoing currently.\u00a0 When we have finished what is needed, harmony and light will be born into the places where darkness and chaos have reigned in the past.<\/p>\n
After my first good night\u2019s sleep in days, I found myself on this morning\u2019s walk, standing on a sandy point which extends into Lake Michigan.\u00a0 The sun illuminated me, and gently breaking waves approached in rolling whispers of sound, light and color flowing in repeating waves from every direction.\u00a0 All came together at my feet massaging me into an experience of perfect harmony, beauty and peace.\u00a0 The outer world reflected and awakened me again to my inner truth.\u00a0 I felt rewarded and discovered once again that even when I feel out of sorts, I am always where I need to be.\u00a0 When I have fulfilled my purpose in the dark, cold, hard places, I will be rewarded with the experience of perfect harmony, which is my true nature and birthright.\u00a0 This is also true of all people and all life and we will all know this once we ascend.<\/p>\n
As I turned to continue my walk, a first-year bald eagle (looking like an osprey with its first year dirty grey tones, and beautiful in its own young power and grace) flew directly toward me and slowed over my head.\u00a0 With awe in my heart, I opened for its message and was told \u2013 \u201cThat was the message\u201d.\u00a0 I got it, I was acknowledged and loved as a necessary part of the wholeness of life.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s important to make time to receive the rewards of our labors.\u00a0 To remember that we are each an essential part of the wholeness of life.\u00a0 We need to hold to the light within our hearts and souls, even when the darkness seems to overwhelm us.\u00a0 And remember that the work we do to overcome the darkness and open to the Oneness that is always present within is a fulfillment of our job on earth.\u00a0 The world around reflects the work we need to do within.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t a reflection of our mistakes or failures.\u00a0 It is a guide to seek the light within us.\u00a0 To heal the wounds that carry darkness and awaken the Oneness in those places.\u00a0 Shame, blame, judgment, fear, hatred, pain, lack, disease \u2013 these are all invitations to find the light and open to Oneness.\u00a0 They are symptoms of the old world, and we are all tarred with that brush.\u00a0 We are here to heal and ascend.<\/p>\n
So please make time to do your own inner work, lighting the dark places.\u00a0 But also make time to receive your rewards.\u00a0 Though you never know when that will be, they come when you have completed an important piece of work.\u00a0 When the rewards come, receive and hold them close within your heart to help you through the next dark time.\u00a0 They make it easier to find the light within by reminding you that you are loved, you are helping, you are exactly the way you were designed to be. \u00a0You are not flawed, but perfect. \u00a0There is a purpose behind it all.\u00a0 As that purpose is fulfilled, the old-world stuff will clear and leave you in the light of true self.<\/p>\n
Like the gulls with their wings that don\u2019t move them along quickly when they fly into the wind, but which soar with great skill and grace.\u00a0 Like me with my extremely sensitive human self but my great strength of spirit both of which are essential for the work I am here to do.\u00a0 You are also designed perfectly for your job during this time of world healing and ascension.<\/p>\n
Let go of the judgments of yourself.\u00a0 Remember that your Higher Self, which is One with the One Source, designed you perfectly.\u00a0 All your strengths and weaknesses are your work. \u00a0You can\u2019t fail.\u00a0 You can make it harder for yourself by judging it.\u00a0 Or you can make it easier on yourself by accepting, loving, healing and ascending it.\u00a0 But you will overcome these limitations when everything comes together within you and within the world around to make it happen.\u00a0 There is a time and a rhythm, and you never know why something hasn\u2019t resolved, until then it does.\u00a0 It will happen when the time is right.\u00a0 I believe in you.\u00a0 I love you unconditionally.\u00a0 You are essential and are doing what you are designed to do in each moment.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n
