Fall has descended suddenly here in Northern Michigan.\u00a0 Only two weeks ago I was swimming in the lake which had finally warmed up!\u00a0 Now we are preparing to head to the Upper Peninsula for a fall color and waterfall tour.\u00a0 I\u2019m looking forward to the unique earthly and spiritual vibration that I only experience there.\u00a0 And not knowing if we will have WIFI or Cellular at blog writing time, I am writing you in advance.\u00a0 This trip is spurring lots of UP memories because some of my breakthrough moments occurred there.\u00a0 So, I\u2019m going to share some of those wonderful moments with you.\u00a0 I know I\u2019ll have new ones to share when I return!<\/p>\n
Long ago I would do a regular fall retreat on the Lake Superior shoreline.\u00a0 Walking the woods before this area became crowded with visitors was a sacred and magical time.\u00a0 I recall a beaver dam that I\u2019m guessing was 300 \u2013 400 feet long which created a lake.\u00a0 But the path I was on walked down below that fragile dam which held the water above.\u00a0 The earth was so rich and the trees so huge, I felt like I was entering an earthly womb and would always leave there reborn in heart, soul and spirit.<\/p>\n
One day I hiked long through the woods toward the shore.\u00a0 I wish I knew where this occurred because I have never found it again. \u00a0I noticed as I walked, the sense that all the trees around me were \u201cawake\u201d.\u00a0 They felt sentient, different than our lower peninsula woods where only some seemed to be that way.\u00a0 I enjoyed that as I journeyed for several miles, feeling myself at ease within this community of sentient trees.<\/p>\n
As I neared the shore, but still in the woods, there was a spring that came out of a rise and dropped amid richly green grass and flowers.\u00a0 Right at that cusp where grassy dune, flowing water, and plants met arose the largest, lushest birch tree I have ever seen.\u00a0 Shining bright white and gorgeous it was the only birch among many young maples and beeches.<\/p>\n
This tree became an important teacher to me.\u00a0 I was so awed by her, and I spoke respectfully thanking her for her presence in the world, her beauty and grace.\u00a0 To my surprise, since I was used to sending telepathically but wasn\u2019t yet used to receiving it outside of my healing and teaching work, she spoke back!\u00a0 She said, \u201cYou don\u2019t have to yell you know, I can hear you perfectly clearly!\u201d.<\/p>\n
I was taken aback because I had no idea that I was telepathically so loud!\u00a0 I immediately softened my psychic voice.\u00a0 She told me she was busy teaching all these youngsters, and then went back to work.\u00a0 Wow!<\/p>\n
As I continued my walk through the young section of forest which I now realized were being taught by the beautiful matriarch birch, I had some unique experiences.\u00a0 First, I became aware of the young personalities and different approaches to life of the two different types of trees \u2013 maple and beach.\u00a0 They seemed to be grouped together in small \u201cclicks\u201d like children at a school event.\u00a0 I could sense their conversations, curiosity, differing levels of spiritual maturity and responses to me.\u00a0 They were clearly aware of my conversation with their teacher and my initial awkward approach to her. I didn\u2019t feel embarrassed by it, just awed and was likewise curious about them. \u00a0It was magical.<\/p>\n
As I exited the \u201cschool yard\u201d there was a different type of tree that had a low horizontal branch where I sat to eat a yogurt.\u00a0 I noticed I was being observed and opened my awareness to discover a gnome \u2013 my first gnome! \u2013 who spoke to me from a higher branch in the tree and said the most unexpected things.\u00a0 I felt a bit like Alice down the rabbit hole!<\/p>\n
First it asked if it could have some of my yogurt, and I can\u2019t recall what I responded to that, but I think it was something like \u201cI don\u2019t think you can eat this\u201d.\u00a0 I have since learned I probably could have left it a small puddle of yogurt \u2013 oh darn.\u00a0 After that it asked me to take it flying!!!\u00a0 That really confused me, so I said I thought birds would be better able to help with that since I can\u2019t fly.\u00a0 It said that birds are not willing to take it flying, then it gave me the vision of an airplane.\u00a0 I explained that it probably wouldn\u2019t like that so much, since basically you\u2019re enclosed in a metal box and can\u2019t see out very well.\u00a0 It agreed that didn\u2019t sound so great.<\/p>\n
What fun for me!\u00a0 I used to be friends with a family who were very involved with the nature spirits in their deep woods who saw gnomes all the time.\u00a0 But this was my first gnome, and it was so funny and interesting!<\/p>\n
Telepathy is the language of the new world and has long been the language that spirit beings use to communicate with us.\u00a0 That is how prayer works too.\u00a0 We all use telepathy increasingly since the ascension began though we probably don\u2019t really recognize it as such much of the time.\u00a0 Some ways you probably use it already would include communication with babies and pets who can\u2019t speak with words.\u00a0 Sending and receiving messages with drivers of other cars.\u00a0 Messages we send and receive with those who are close to us.<\/p>\n
Go ahead and practice using it.\u00a0 A great way is to send telepathic message of love and encouragement to those you care about.\u00a0 Especially when there are disagreements, misunderstandings, or someone needs support but isn\u2019t open to hear it verbally.\u00a0 My favorite telepathic message to send people is \u201cI love you unconditionally and I believe in you\u201d.\u00a0 This message changes people\u2019s lives.\u00a0 When they hear it telepathically it goes deep into their soul\u2026touching their inner children and most vulnerable places.\u00a0 It helps them overcome obstacles and believe in themselves!\u00a0 It also builds better relationships, especially given from parent to child, or between close adults who maybe don\u2019t always communicate as lovingly or easily as they\u2019d like.<\/p>\n
