Listening with Heart<\/p>\n
Increasingly as we ascend, we find an ability to be guided by our own higher intelligence and love.\u00a0 We stop seeking other people\u2019s authority and access the truest authority in our lives, our own Higher Selves.<\/p>\n
Higher Self is an individual\u2019s personal facet of the Oneness of all.\u00a0 It is the creator of our bodies and souls over all our lifetimes and therefore the trustworthy guide for our lives and choices. The created part of us is ascending into unity with our Higher Selves which has been the goal and purpose behind all that has gone before, so now is the time to learn to access this clearest focus of self.<\/p>\n
The organ that permits communication with Higher Self is our Heart Chakra.\u00a0 This spiritual organ is the required interface allowing all facets of ourselves to function in unity with Higher Self.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t the only part that communicates, but without it, we can\u2019t access higher intelligence and love for ourselves.\u00a0 Without an open heart we can think, feel, hear, and see but only with our human level of perception.<\/p>\n
Getting our heart chakra open and tuned to our Higher Selves is a type of soul muscle \u2013 something we grow through doing it over and over until it becomes our default way of being.\u00a0 Even with a strong open heart \u201cmuscle\u201d, circumstances can overwhelm our heart and cloud the waters of our perceptions.\u00a0 There are ways to get around this if you are aware it is happening.\u00a0 With practice you will know when your perceptions are clouded or limited to a lower focus.<\/p>\n
For this post there are two primary things I would like to share with you:<\/p>\n
1 \u2013 How to work through heart chakra instead of the common mental focus or emotional chaos.<\/p>\n
2 \u2013 How to get heart chakra tuned to higher self, even when the waters of emotions and mind are clouded by judgments, fears or circumstances.<\/p>\n
Many people have learned through circumstances in childhood to protect their heart by living from their mind.\u00a0 For them, it takes healing and deliberate choice to learn to use their heart chakra and trust that experience.\u00a0 What I am suggesting is not that you sacrifice your discerning mind and leave yourself vulnerable.\u00a0 But rather that your human mind may have become a block to unity with Higher Self.\u00a0 As an adult, you can ask your mind to allow you to use your heart, but to still provide you with discernment of when circumstances are not safe.\u00a0 A strong mind is a good thing.\u00a0 A mind in control of your life is extremely limited and cut off from spirit and from significant aspects of the experience of loving.<\/p>\n
Other people have learned to live from their emotions and instincts which is the opposite extreme of mental control.\u00a0 There can be an element of chaos in this which sometimes prevents clear connection with Higher Self.\u00a0 Like waves in the ocean of feeling, it clouds the waters of perception.\u00a0 In this situation, the choice can be made to find the calm true center deep within which I call Inner Wisdom.\u00a0 Centering there allows the waters of emotion and mind to calm and the ensuing clarity allows unity with Higher Self to grow.<\/p>\n
For both extremes, as for everyone else, the first step is to access the calm place within called Inner Wisdom.\u00a0 This is where I begin all my meditative work.<\/p>\n
