Combine ascension and the holidays and you have extra need of a quiet place within yourself that can be quickly accessed, no matter how busy or wild things are.\u00a0 Here are some ways to get there!<\/p>\n
1) This simple classic is possibly the very best – breathe.\u00a0 Focusing on your breath even for just a minute or more is powerful.\u00a0 This can be done even in the midst of chaos and great activity.\u00a0 Pay attention as you breathe in, relax and let go as you breathe out.\u00a0 One single breath brings you to center and that may be all you have time for.\u00a0 A few minutes of focused breath releases tension and opens your heart.\u00a0 When your heart is open your Higher Self is present and you can begin to perceive clear direction and trust the greater good in whatever is happening in your present moment.<\/p>\n
2) The Inner Hug – self-comforting is empowered and enlightened maturity in action.\u00a0 We all have inner children which can carry the stress of our past into our present.\u00a0 When present experiences remind us of our childhood stresses then our inner children may temporarily take the driver’s seat in our lives if we let them, and that always spells problems.\u00a0 But a simple inner hug can allow your compassionate and enlightened Inner Wisdom to take charge.\u00a0 Breathe into your body all the way down to your toes and up to the top of your head.\u00a0 Continuing to breath, remember that you are a mature adult and that it is just your child self who is afraid or upset. Wrap inner arms of love and comfort around your whole self.\u00a0 Then focus that hug around your young self as you would any child who needs help.\u00a0 Reassure your child self that your adult self will take care of things so they can relax and be safe.\u00a0 Let your heart open.\u00a0 Deep within your heart is your Inner Wisdom, the seed of the One Source, and a wellspring of unconditional love and wisdom.\u00a0 Welcome that part of you to fill you with love. Continue to breathe and hug and allow love and wisdom to call you back to your power and true intelligence.\u00a0 From there whatever has set your inner child off will be much easier to handle.<\/p>\n
3) Candle Meditation – This can be a simple as lighting a candle and acknowledging that the flame is a focus of the love of the Higher Power in our world.\u00a0 If you have a minute, let it remind you of your Inner Wisdom within your heart and soul which is a focus of that Higher Power within your life.\u00a0 If you have a little more time you can pour your worries, concerns, fears and troubles into the light of the flame through your open heart, to be given to the Higher Power.\u00a0 Let the Higher Power carry them for you, and handle the biggest part of things making it easier for you do the pieces that are yours.\u00a0 Then return to the simple quiet light of the candle and the light within your heart.\u00a0 Let the light within your heart fill your body and aura with peace and unconditional love.<\/p>\n
4) Look Up – take a walk and look up at the tops of the trees, at the clouds, at the birds.\u00a0 Before you know it you feel good!\u00a0 If no time to walk, take a minute to look out the window at these same things and begin to find perspective again.\u00a0 Looking up activates your crown chakra which is where we unify with the Source.\u00a0 Feel your trust and confidence awaken.<\/p>\n
5) Enlightened Thanks – when family or friends push your buttons and make you feel like a child.\u00a0 Or maybe they express old world attitudes and judgments and then you find yourself judging them for doing that; this enlightened reply frees your true self:\u00a0 Thank you for helping me and the world ascend! <\/em>This works because it is a statement of truth — you are ascending and they are helping you by providing the impetus for self-awareness of places within you that may now be ready to heal and ascend.<\/p>\n 6) All I am is love, what is not love is not me – you can smooth your emotional feathers with this statement which honors your true self. It also accepts that there is that within each of us which is not loving; but that is not who we are, it is just something we have to work with for a while yet.\u00a0 Then you can reverse the statement in this way for others if you are feeling generous — All you are is love…everything else is a temporary role you play.\u00a0 Yes, I know you can’t say this stuff out loud, it works much better said powerfully but silently within your heart and soul.<\/p>\n May your holiday season be joyful, peaceful and beautiful my friends, whether you are alone or with family.\u00a0 This is the time of year when the light of unity and wholeness is strongest within our hearts.
