There is a rhythm to personal ascension that is unique to this period of change.\u00a0 It really is like riding a wave, but not on a surf board as much as being a part of the wave itself.<\/p>\n
Most Michiganders like myself have had plenty of experience with waves in action while standing in\u00a0one of\u00a0the Great Lakes.\u00a0 And East and West Coasters have the ocean; so many of you\u00a0can relate to this analogy through personal experience with vast bodies of water.\u00a0 A wave\u00a0starts its life as a subtle but powerful movement \u00a0across a lake or ocean until it comes to shore\u00a0where there is a thrust of forward motion as it breaks on the beach with a satisfying sound, and breath of moist spray.\u00a0 Then having deposited itself, it immediately begins to recede, drawing back with a\u00a0force that pulls the sand out from under your feet, as with tingles and bubbles and fizz it draws back into the vast body of water.\u00a0 Then\u00a0between waves a person standing in the water feels the pull of\u00a0the retreating water and the next arriving wave come together in an almost calm place, but with lots of action going on below the surface while the next wave begins to form and moves everything again toward shore.<\/p>\n
Our own bodies, emotions, minds and souls are going through this kind of change.\u00a0 We feel it within ourselves, and may wonder why we aren’t as able to just move straight forward toward out goals as we once were; there seems to be\u00a0a lot\u00a0of confusion and resistance.\u00a0 There are times when we move ahead faster than we ever could have before and we think – Yes!, now I am getting somewhere!\u00a0 Then we find ourselves pulled back into ourselves, with a powerful force, which makes it difficult to just stand in place, let alone move forward.\u00a0 This may be followed by a period of outer inactivity, but a sense of inner disruption.\u00a0 Then we have another period of rapid accomplishment and change. If\u00a0we expect constant forward motion,\u00a0we may find\u00a0this process\u00a0to be\u00a0alternately frustrating and exhilarating, worrisome and then thrilling!\u00a0 —\u00a0 I am wondering how many of you\u00a0have\u00a0noticed this cycle within yourself?\u00a0 I would love for you to comment about it if you want.–\u00a0 This is the rhythm of change that is building\u00a0the new world home of body and soul for our Higher Self to act through in the world.\u00a0 Each new breaking wave is our Higher Self acting more fully within our life than before.\u00a0 Each period of delay is a time of restructuring our energy systems to accommodate the next greater presence of Higher Self within.<\/p>\n
I hope that understanding this helps you\u00a0to make good use of each cycle of change.\u00a0 When life is not moving\u00a0you forward, practice doing what you can do without fighting it.\u00a0 I hope you can enjoy a deepening sense of self during those periods of personal shift, as your Higher Self prepares you to ascend another step.\u00a0 Then when the big thrust of outward movement comes, let it reassure you\u00a0because everything is getting done much faster than expected.\u00a0\u00a0Then the\u00a0next time it slows down and pulls you back into yourself\u00a0maybe you can enjoy that phase of the process more, trusting it all works out in the end.<\/p>\n
