So much of where we get stuck in the old world has to do with emotions.\u00a0 All of us are\u00a0carrying Post Traumatic Stress\u00a0 after lifetimes in the old world experience.\u00a0 There are good aspects to this, because if we pay attention, our emotional reactions and blocks will lead us to the places within ourselves which, when healed, will speed us on our ascension journey.\u00a0\u00a0Our emotional baggage\u00a0acts like bookmarks in the stories of our lifetimes, showing us where we have work to finish and gifts to\u00a0integrate before we ascend.<\/p>\n
The challenge is that old stuck emotions are very compelling.\u00a0 They can draw us into darker places within our memories in an instant.\u00a0Emotions link to parts of us\u00a0which are still living in\u00a0past trauma.\u00a0 We call these Inner Children, or Soul Parts.\u00a0These parts of us can\u00a0create a film of misery on our experience; like\u00a0dirty eyeglasses showing us a reality which doesn’t exist anymore, but which\u00a0feels as though it is present now.\u00a0\u00a0So they are very convincing; telling us things are terrible, when really they are not.\u00a0\u00a0So people have tended to avoid negative emotions as much as possible – medicating them, drowning them with drink and food, burying them deep in\u00a0the unconscious\u00a0or projecting them onto others.\u00a0 This doesn’t make them go away though, they just fester when we do this and can undermine our lives.<\/p>\n
As we ascend, we become increasingly unified with our\u00a0own Higher Selves, and this is where we find the solution.\u00a0 When identified with our Higher Selves, we have the emotional and spiritual muscle to release the stuck places, learn what we need from them and move on.\u00a0 It is all about strengthening our true identity.\u00a0 Our Higher Self can’t be victimized, is unafraid, is confident in the greater good within all circumstances and knows it is eternal, safe and unbreakable.\u00a0 So the emotionally traumatic circumstances of life, while not pleasant, don’t have the ability to overwhelm like they used to.\u00a0 They become increasingly easy to resolve.<\/p>\n
In my writings I talk a lot about living in your new world self.\u00a0 Your new world self is significantly more\u00a0in unity with your Higher Self\u00a0than your old world self.\u00a0 Both aspects of you exist simultaneously during\u00a0our current\u00a0transitional period of ascension.\u00a0 I have been teaching you to choose to live in your new world self, in the new world nursery, a place in spirit which holds you more strongly in the new world experience and assists to grow your new world self.\u00a0 There is also an old world nursery\u00a0you can release\u00a0your old world self into, which\u00a0nurtures it\u00a0until it is ready to begin ascending too.\u00a0 In this way you can\u00a0bridge the two experiences as needed, but be focused in your new world self.<\/p>\n
Increasingly you become able to tell when you have gotten pulled into the old world identity,\u00a0by emotional reactions,\u00a0from the present\u00a0reminding you of\u00a0past experiences where you became stuck in your growth.\u00a0 These “bookmarks” from\u00a0the past\u00a0are trying to show you where to work on your healing so you can gain the gifts from those experiences; and\u00a0claim your strong soul muscles that you have earned through them.<\/p>\n
When you find yourself remembering in the midst of an emotional reaction that you are the wise one within, not the emotion,\u00a0your more enlightened self\u00a0can\u00a0respond to your\u00a0 emotions as a healer for your self.\u00a0\u00a0Then you know your\u00a0new world self\u00a0is getting strong!\u00a0 If\u00a0you don’t remember until later,\u00a0after you’ve had a meltdown, that’s great!\u00a0 You remembered — now you can begin to make the opportunity a blessing instead of a curse.\u00a0 You are ascending.<\/p>\n
The subject of how to handle these old\u00a0wounded parts of ourselves\u00a0is a large one.\u00a0 Probably too big for this post.\u00a0 However, I have already given you\u00a0lots of\u00a0tools for doing that through many different posts on this site, which are here in the archives for your use.\u00a0\u00a0These tools include\u00a0strengthening your connection to your Inner Wisdom deep within your heart chakra, and\u00a0Power Animals\u00a0which\u00a0strengthen the wisdom and power of your instinctual self so your Higher Self can join with it and be stronger in the world.\u00a0 The exercise of “being a tree” strengthens that same unity of human and divine within you.\u00a0 The key is to learn to identify with your true self, so that when the emotional stuff comes up strongly, you are able to step back\u00a0from the reaction,\u00a0and into that calm place within of your Inner Wisdom.\u00a0 From there you can welcome your Higher Self to be present;\u00a0then to surround whatever is going on with the “Force of Unity” which is the active energy of unconditional love, flowing from the Source of Life.\u00a0 This will bring a deeper calm and help you feel safe enough to learn from the experience and initiate healing.\u00a0 Again I have taught all of these things in prior posts.
