Hello Ascending Friends!\u00a0 It is time again to\u00a0put a positive spin on\u00a0the hard part of ascension, which is the breaking down of the old world foundations.\u00a0 When we see fires\u00a0in California, Hurricanes on our coasts, mass murders at concerts and\u00a0oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico\u00a0we know that ascension is happening – which is a sign of better things to come ultimately.\u00a0\u00a0This tough part of change is the part we call surfing – riding the waves of change – together we can learn to surf with skill and grace\u00a0while we ascend.\u00a0 As I wrote two weeks ago – trust is necessary; and I know you join me in sending prayers, healing and offering support to those who are in the midst of these physical challenges.<\/p>\n

We are learning to go deeper into our own true selves to find security and support, wisdom and guidance as to how to surf our waves of change.\u00a0 This is the true purpose of these changes, to cause us to release the old world and center within the truest reality we possess – our Higher Self within.\u00a0 When we do this willingly it does two things – 1 – it stimulates the ascension process in our world which causes change – 2 – it eases the intensity of that change so it happens more smoothly for everyone.\u00a0\u00a0It is easier\u00a0because we\u00a0are surfing\u00a0it instead of being an obstruction which requires the waves to break it\u00a0up so change can happen.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0meditated for a tool that\u00a0would be very helpful to you at this time and was inspired to mention power animals.\u00a0 Power animals are one of the tools common to First People Medicine from all countries and traditions.\u00a0 I work with\u00a0power animals\u00a0in both traditional and non-traditional ways and the non-traditional is easiest to share in this format, so I will offer that.\u00a0 Many of you have learned power animals from me in classes and healing sessions – so you already know how to proceed and how to go even deeper that this format can explain.\u00a0 I encourage you to work with yours or find the new one you need at this time.<\/p>\n

A power animal is a spiritual gift from the Source of Life.\u00a0 Each animal has unique qualities and gifts which you can receive\u00a0through having a power animal.\u00a0 Your power animal comes specifically to meet your\u00a0individual needs and is always a wild\u00a0animal, not a domesticated one.\u00a0 Its job is to strengthen your instinctual self so you respond to life\u00a0with new strength.\u00a0 Below is a very simple way to find and integrate\u00a0the\u00a0power animal which you need at this point in your personal ascension process:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Breathe into your body and give yourself an inner hug from the base of your feet to the top of your head.<\/li>\n
  2. Relax into your new world\u00a0heart chakra in the middle of your chest and allow the unconditionally loving\u00a0energy of your Inner Wisdom which resides there,\u00a0to fill your body and aura. (the new world heart chakra is in the same vicinity\u00a0as your regular heart chakra but it works in a clearer way)<\/li>\n
  3. Center on your Inner Wisdom\u00a0and allow\u00a0all your senses, thoughts and intuition to \u00a0flow from there instead of your head.\u00a0 Let your Inner Wisdom initiate all processes in this meditation from within\u00a0your heart chakra.<\/li>\n
  4. From your Inner Wisdom, ask your eternal Higher Self to invite the One Source to bring to you, in unconditional love and truth, the power animal that you need to empower you.\u00a0 Ask to receive only unconditional love and truth with this gift.<\/li>\n
  5. Open your heart, and from your Inner Wisdom welcome the power animal to come to you, as a feeling or awareness and perhaps as an image too.\u00a0 Feeling is most helpful – so be open to the energy and love the power animal brings.<\/li>\n
  6. The animal may come to you immediately, or it may come later as a dream, or just on awakening, or even sometimes\u00a0an actual animal may make contact, to\u00a0help\u00a0you become\u00a0aware of the power animal you are receiving.<\/li>\n
  7. When the animal has presented itself – make friends with it, and\u00a0let yourself play with it (even a fierce animal will play gently with you as your power animal – if yours shows up as a physical wild animal – you only want to play with it in spirit and imagination!).\u00a0 Allow your imagination to take you into the feeling of what this animal brings to you.\u00a0 Explore how it brings strengths that help you.<\/li>\n
  8. If everything feels right and good, you can have your Inner Wisdom and Higher Self invite the power animal into your heart chakra and crown chakra (top of your head)\u00a0to merge into you.<\/li>\n
  9. Then let yourself feel and imagine what it is like to be that animal and do all the things it does – make its sounds, feed, socialize etc..\u00a0 You won’t get lost in it – it will strengthen you, not overpower you.\u00a0 Even a predatory animal won’t make you predatory – it will only impart its true and necessary gifts to you in your life.<\/li>\n
  10. When you feel you have had the full experience of being your animal, or as much as you are ready to do so at this time, then return your focus to your human self and your Inner Wisdom in your heart.\u00a0 Your power animal will stay with you as an inner teacher, helping you to grow more empowered and whole.<\/li>\n
  11. Daily for 28 days merge with your power animal (steps 9 & 10) once or twice a day for a few minutes.\u00a0 If you do this standing up and making the sounds out loud and moving like the animal it is very empowering.\u00a0 However, you can do it silently too and it will still work, just not as potently.<\/li>\n
  12. It helps to study your animal – watch a show about its life or read about it so you can know it as well as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The changes power animals make in our lives are profound.\u00a0 They can strengthen our will and confidence, heal our bodies, emotions and minds, and give us the ability to face challenges successfully and help us release PTSD.\u00a0 In relation to the ascension process your power animal will help you to ride the waves of change with confidence, courage and increased skill.<\/p>\n

    All Beings\u00a0are eternal, safe and unbreakable – the waves of change pulsing through our world are happening in just the right ways to motivate our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual selves grow and ascend beyond the limitations we have know in the past.\u00a0 There is so much more within us that we have never accessed before, but which we can increasingly because we are ascending.\u00a0\u00a0Many times we simply wouldn’t access those parts of us if\u00a0circumstances didn’t force us\u00a0to change.\u00a0 Even for those who change willingly this is a common fact.\u00a0 Some parts of us resist, even while others move ahead eagerly, so life motivates us by becoming less reliable.<\/p>\n

    So when change impacts you and those you love, reach within for the\u00a0new\u00a0resources\u00a0of intelligence and love\u00a0that are coming on board for you as you ascend.\u00a0 Something new is\u00a0integrating for you\u00a0every day – it is exciting and very adventuresome!<\/p>\n
