{"id":1158,"date":"2016-11-11T04:03:06","date_gmt":"2016-11-11T09:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spiritualhealers.com\/blog\/?p=1158"},"modified":"2023-07-03T00:39:05","modified_gmt":"2023-07-03T04:39:05","slug":"the-walk-of-unconditional-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spiritualhealers.com\/blog\/?p=1158","title":{"rendered":"The Walk of Unconditional Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I knew some of you read and followed the suggestions from Wednesday&#8217;s special post\u00a0after the election, because I felt you working!\u00a0 I sent some extra support for your emotional\u00a0and mental\u00a0work, to help you clear what you were feeling and not get stuck in it.\u00a0 I hope you felt that\u00a0ease things\u00a0for you.\u00a0 Just so you will have a better experience next time you process difficult reactions, here are a couple of pointers for working with them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always have your heart open, because it is the transformer, which allows stuff to clear from negative to positive energy.\u00a0 When people feel negative emotions, they tend to close their hearts, and then everything builds up inside your head and your belly, and intensifies things.<\/li>\n<li>It often helps, when you are going to allow yourself to process feelings, to create some objectivity so you don&#8217;t get swamped by them.\u00a0 A good way to do this is to approach it as though you were an adult comforting a beloved child.\u00a0 Staying\u00a0in your mature\/spiritual\/adult self, open your heart to the Higher Power, and then\u00a0to the part of you that is upset (usually a less mature aspect of you).\u00a0 Listen to what that part of you feels;\u00a0keeping your heart open to the Higher Power and the feelings simultaneously.\u00a0 Welcome the Higher Power to come into the places in your body, soul and life where you are upset.\u00a0 Allow it to lift\u00a0the toxicity and comfort you, bringing your feelings\u00a0to a clearer and truer focus.\u00a0 Once that is done, invite higher wisdom to give you clarity and perspective on the issues you are facing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Like many of you, it took some work for me to understand and embrace the election results.\u00a0 It helped that I\u00a0was awed by what\u00a0was uniquely\u00a0able to happen during the days just\u00a0prior to,\u00a0and especially the night following the election.\u00a0\u00a0I wish I could explain the\u00a0tremendous amount of healing that happened\u00a0for our world, our country, for different social, economic and cultural groups, and especially for those who voted for our new president.\u00a0 It is very clear that this continued healing process\u00a0is what this next 4 years is all about.\u00a0 I will obviously include healing and support for\u00a0all groups of people who will be negatively impacted by the attitudes and inclinations of the newly elected officials.\u00a0 There will be lots of opportunities for healing and ascension there.<\/p>\n<p>One of the trickiest parts of the journey of healing, ascension and self-mastery is learning to flow with the needs of the whole, which often appear to be at odds with the needs which we espouse for ourselves and our world.\u00a0 It is easy to wonder where other people are coming from, and why they choose to act out of fear, judgment, greed and hatred.\u00a0 Our instincts are to fight against that, because we see how much damage those can do to people and to\u00a0our planet, and we so want her to be healed and whole.\u00a0\u00a0There is a higher purpose and a\u00a0situation like this election\u00a0does a number of things which we need to recognize and support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring up the aspects of our human community which need to be recognized as present and in need of healing, acceptance, forgiveness and love<\/li>\n<li>Give those who are healers a chance to work with that process, allowing those elements of our human family to begin to ascend<\/li>\n<li>Teach those of us on a spiritual path already, to master our own fears, judgments and anger &#8211; not just squelch them, but master them (what I taught\u00a0in my special post this week is a beginning for doing that)\u00a0and in so doing make huge strides in our ascension<\/li>\n<li>As those of us who are already on the path of ascension do this, it opens the way for everything to work out for the greater good, despite what appears to be a setback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As I worked with my own disappointment and judgment over the past week, because I\u00a0could see the direction things were going, I was reminded of Nelson Mandela.\u00a0 If you haven&#8217;t already read his biography <em>Long Walk to Freedom<\/em>, or seen the movie of his life by the same name, please do.\u00a0 Nelson was a masterful\u00a0trail blazer in the process of true forgiveness and compassion,\u00a0proving miraculously\u00a0how\u00a0they can change the political and social circumstances of our world.\u00a0 I doubt any of us will have to go through what he did to accomplish this, thank goodness!\u00a0 However, we are all part of one family of humanity, what one accomplishes, assists all of us to accomplish that in our own way.\u00a0 Working for a peaceful world is a powerful, personal,\u00a0inside job.\u00a0 The integrity we gain through doing that inner work, brings us into position to serve the world with impactful love, wisdom and grace.<\/p>\n<p>I realize that we are being called to love, not just where it is easy, but to unconditionally love\u00a0all things and all people.\u00a0 That doesn&#8217;t mean we agree with them, but it means respect, compassion, recognizing God in\u00a0everyone, and accepting that there is a purpose for everyone. It allows us to bring The Higher Power into each relationship and circumstance.\u00a0Unconditional love is the greatest hallmark of the new world.\u00a0 It is the foundation on which the new world is being built.\u00a0 We are each being asked to master this type of love a little bit more.\u00a0 When we do, the world will ascend to a higher level and we will be able to resolve what now seems impossible.<\/p>\n<p>I see great hope in this process for all of us!\u00a0 And I thank you for doing your part, my ascending friends!!!\u00a0 Blessings on your week.\u00a0 Love Always, Eve<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
