Finding Peace

Hi Ascending Friends!

Here we are in the final week of Mercury Retrograde, a time when life resists our forward movement so we can complete things that need to be done so we can move forward more fully into what comes next!

What I’ve observed lately is that many of us need to find a profound place of peace inside so we can allow healing into our deep unconscious selves.  There are extra and unusual stressors that effect us as our world ascends.  Even when we seem to be handling the stress with greater acceptance and trust than in the past, there are parts of our unconscious selves that will need help to release stressors from our present and from our past experiences.  This frees us up to ascend to a better place!

You can try this delicious meditation below to help you enter a deeply relaxed place:

Lay on your back with your knees slightly elevated or recline in a favorite chair. Breath into your body from the top of your head to the souls of your feet, giving yourself a big inner hug and opening your heart to welcome your Higher Self to enter you.

Allow your breathing to carry you into your new world heart chakra in the middle of your chest and then let your center move back into yourself until you feel your spine is the middle of you, rather than the back of you.  This opens your connection to your Higher Self more fully.

From deep within your heart, invite the River of Ascension which flows from the Source of Life through our world and is composed of unconditional love and The Holy Spirit – the foundational substance of the new world, to flow through your body from the base of your feet, up through the crown of your head.

Starting at your feet, tense your toes for a moment and then releasing them, feel the relaxation.  Continue up your body, tensing and releasing different muscle groups and welcoming the river of ascension to relax, and comfort you, all the way up through your head.  Then relax even further, welcoming the river to flow through your emotions, mind, soul and spirit.

At any time in this process, if there are any emotions, thoughts, memories or issues that arise, open your heart to allow your Higher Self in so you can heal and to gain wisdom and understanding, to grow and move through these experiences.  Then allow the peaceful flow of the river and relax again.  You can also deliberately recall things you need to resolve and work with them in this way.  Keeping your heart open allows healing.  Always return to the deep love and comfort of the River of Ascension.

You can imagine time passing this way…days, weeks, months, years…how long do you need to get deeply relaxed?  Your unconscious will accept that time has passed if you imagine the sun rising and setting, to indicate days and nights.  In between the rising and setting, feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper, imagine spending time in ways that are stress free, fully nurturing and pleasurable.  In this way in just a short period of time you can feel like you have had months or even years of time off from all your responsibilities.  This is deeply relaxing and healing.

We are moving into a whole new relationship with ourselves and life.  Releasing the old issues and self-limiting beliefs in this way allows us to come into our new world identity and know we are a unique focus of the One Source of Life.  Each of us is precious and necessary to the greater good of all.
